Drilling holes in a cribbage board is time-consuming and very exacting.The fixture shown here produces fast, accurate holes by using small spacers to locate them.Four thin spacers are used for the holes within each group of five, and every fifth spacer is thicker, to set the wider areas between the groups of five.

To use the fixture, put all the spacers in place and line up the bit with the first hole.Then drill the first hole, remove one spacer, move the board to the left, drill the next hole and move the board again.
